Luke Balestrero is based in the firm’s Chicago office. Luke’s practice focuses on civil litigation including the defense of auto, truck, construction, and premises liability injury claims as well as the defense of complex local public entity, municipality, and labor and employment litigation.

Luke’s past experience includes serving as a Law Clerk for a subrogation firm, as an intern for the Center for Disability and Elder Law, and as an extern for the Honorable Judge Thomas V. Lyons the II.

DePaul College of Law awarded Luke the Dean Scholarship for recognized academic achievement. He also participated in the College of Law’s competitive Intellectual Property legal writing program.

Luke graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a bachelors degree in general studies with concentrations in Philosophy, Economics, and Political science. Luke is also a May 2022 graduate of DePaul College of Law.

Luke is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois as well as the United States District Court of the Northern District of Illinois.
