Lee A. Laudicina
Chicago
Lee Laudicina is based in the firm’s Chicago Office. Lee’s practice focuses primarily on workers’ compensation defense and general insurance defense.
Lee’s experience includes a wide range of cases including workers’ compensation, construction litigation, premises liability, insurance coverage, wrongful death, subrogation, automobile negligence, commercial litigation and product liability. Lee has served as lead counsel from inception to trial and appeal, managing cases in state, federal and appellate court.Previous public sector experience includes working for a Magistrate Judge in the Northern District of Illinois, the Illinois Department of Public Health, and President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.
In 2024, Lee was recognized as a “Leading Lawyer” for both General Personal Injury Defense Law and Workers’ Compensation Defense Law, a distinction earned by fewer than 5% of all lawyers licensed to practice in Illinois. From 2015-2023, Lee was given similar recognition as an “Emerging Lawyer”. In 2019, he was recognized as a Top 10 Workers’ Compensation Attorney in Illinois by Attorney and Practice Magazine, a distinction given to less than 1% of attorneys.
Lee graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2008. He received a B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2005. Accomplishments in law school include an Advocacy Certificate, Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Team, International Law Review, Legal Writing Tutor, and three CALI Awards.
Lee is admitted to practice law in Illinois, the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He is also a member of the Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Defense Counsel, and the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association.
