Hannah Koropp is based in the firm’s Chicago office.  Hannah’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including the defense of auto, construction, premises liability, and discrimination claims, as well as the defense of complex local public entity, municipality, and labor and employment litigation.

Hannah’s past experience includes involvement in the defense of multi-million dollar product and premise liability cases, substantial motion practice at both the trial and appellate level both in Illinois and nationally, representing indigent criminal defendants charged with felonies, and extensive policy advocacy and research experience focused on reform of the criminal justice and child welfare systems.

Hannah graduated from the University of Chicago in 2018 with a degree in Public Policy and Spanish, where she was a founding member of the student organization UChicago Women in Law. She also served as Service & Philanthropy Director of the UChicago chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity for Women, where she organized and led the chapter’s annual philanthropy event and raised over $85,000 for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Cook county, the largest amount ever raised at a UChicago student-led fundraising event.
 
She obtained her law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2022. While in law school, Hannah was a recipient of a Law School Merit Scholarship, a fellowship with the Equal Justice Initiative awarded to select students to pursue internships focused on civil rights and criminal Justice reform, Dean’s List honors for several semesters, and three CALI awards for the highest grade in the class. She also served as an editor on the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal and was a member of the Public Interest Law Society.

Hannah is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court - Northern District of Illinois. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
