Ahlam H. Khatib
Chicago
Ahlam Khatib is based in the firm’s Chicago office. Ahlam's practice focuses on civil litigation, including the defense of auto, truck, construction, and premises liability injury claims as well as the defense of complex local public entity, municipality, and labor and employment litigation.
Ahlam's past experience includes civil litigation involving personal injury, automobile liability, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, and real estate disputes. Before joining the firm, she practiced at an insurance defense firm and previously served as a law clerk for a personal injury litigation firm. Ahlam also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Cheryl D. Ingram.
Ahlam graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Economics and Sociology. She obtained her law degree from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While in law school, Ahlam was a member of the ABA Client Counseling Team and served as a mentor through the Castillo Scholarship Mentorship Program.
Ahlam is admitted to practice in the States of Illinois and Indiana and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Arab American Bar Association.
