Lindsey A. Avalos
Chicago
Lindsey Avalos is based in the firm’s Chicago office, but practices regularly out of the firm’s office in Naperville. Lindsey’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including the defense of complex local public entity, municipality, and labor and employment litigation, as well as the defense of construction, auto, and premises liability claims.
Lindsey's past experience includes working as a paralegal for over a decade, serving as a law clerk for the EEOC, externing with the Honorable Justice Michael B. Hyman on the Illinois Appellate Court and serving as an assistant public defender.Lindsey graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Criminal Justice Administration. She obtained her law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Law. While in law school, Lindsey was a member of the Moot Court and Trial Advocacy Honors Programs. She was also a National Finalist in the 2023 ABA National Arbitration Competition.
Lindsey is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Women's Bar Association of Illinois.
