Kimberlee Massin and Denise Kruse obtained a dismissal with prejudice on behalf of both a business and individual where the plaintiff claimed she slipped and fell on grease at the back door of the business. Plaintiff claimed she suffered a transverse process fracture on her lumber spine which resulted in permanent pain. Through discovery BVH developed evidence that the Plaintiff could not identify the cause of her fall and successfully established there was no grease, defect, or unnatural accumulation. BVH successfully moved for summary judgment in LaSalle County.
