Lori Vanderlaan and Fritz Wilson won summary judgment in a lawsuit filed against one of the firm's Housing Authority clients, and the Executive Director of the housing authority.

Lori Vanderlaan and Fritz Wilson won summary judgment in a lawsuit filed against one of the firm's Housing Authority clients, and the Executive Director of the housing authority.

The Plaintiff alleged that she was owed unpaid wages and salary arising out of an alleged employment relationship with the housing authority. Lori and Fritz were able to establish that Plaintiff had not suffered damages, and were also successfully able to challenge jurisdiction based on a careful reading of the applicable federal regulations. As a result, the Court granted Judgment in favor of the Housing Authority and it's Executive Director and dismissed the case with prejudice.
