In April of 2012, Scott McKenna was able to obtain a favorable settlement for their client, a condominium association, where the plaintiff alleged that she slipped and fell in a puddle of water in the basement of her condo.

Plaintiff claimed that there was a history of leaks in the basement. She sustained a wrist fracture with $39,000 in specials. Shortly after taking the plaintiff's deposition, Plaintiff agreed to settle the case for $20,000, almost ½ of the specials.
