Katherine Takiguchi is based in the firm’s Chicago office. Katherine’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including the defense of transportation, construction, commercial property and premises liability claims.
Katherine previously worked with a full service local government law firm on various matters focusing primarily on labor and employment and land use. Katherine’s past experience also includes involvement in the defense of personal injury cases arising from automobile collisions and construction-site and premises incidents.
Katherine graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mass Communication. She obtained her law degree from The John Marshall Law School. While in law school, Katherine achieved the highest grade in her Trial Advocacy course and was selected to work during several semesters as a teacher’s assistant for incoming 1L students in both Lawyering Skills and Torts. Katherine also volunteered with The John Marshall Law School’s Veteran’s Legal Support Center assisting veterans who were appealing their denied discharge upgrades and benefit compensation claims.”
In her spare time, Katherine is a member of the ALS Association of the Greater Chicago Area as well as the Purdue Alumni Association of Chicago.
