Julie A. Kuhn
Julie Kuhn is based in the firm’s Chicago office. Julie’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including the defense of auto, construction, and premises liability injury claims as well as the defense of complex local public entity, municipality, and employment litigation.Julie participated in the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic where she advocated first-chair on behalf of her clients in housing, credit card debt, and construction cases. While working for the Clinic, Julie assisted in drafting and arguing a successful appellate brief in the Ohio Eleventh District Court of Appeals. During her final semester of law school, Julie was selected as the Legal Extern in NASA's Office of Chief Counsel, where she assisted corporate counsel with drafting contracts, responding to protests, and maintaining compliance with federal agency policies.
Julie graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. She obtained her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. While in law school, Julie was selected as the 1L peer tutor for Civil Procedure and Contracts. Julie was the recipient of the Vattel International Law Scholar Scholarship during all three-years of her attendance at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She volunteered with 3Rs, a Cleveland Legal Aid and the Cleveland Bar Association mentoring program for public high school students.
Julie is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
