Erin M. Kuhfuss
Erin Kuhfuss is based in the firm’s Chicago office. Erin’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including the defense of automobile, truck, and premises liability injury claims.Erin’s past experience includes working in a multitude of areas, including civil litigation and regulatory compliance, as well as clerking for personal injury firms involving automobile and truck collisions and construction negligence.
While a member of the Chicago-Kent Trial Advocacy Team, Erin was captain of the AAJ Regional Trial Competition Champions in Chicago and the AAJ National Semi-Finalists in Cleveland. She was also National Quarter-Finalist in the Buffalo-Niagara Mock Trial Competition in Buffalo, New York.
Erin graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Political Science. She obtained her law degree from Chicago-Kent of Law with honors and was a member of the Chicago-Kent Trial Advocacy Team. While also in law school, Erin earned CALI awards in both Trial Advocacy II and Cannabis Law, Illinois’ first ever law class on the subject matter. She also obtained a Supreme Court 711 law license in the Chicago-Kent Criminal Defense Clinic. Erin is an assistant instructor of Trial Advocacy with the Chicago-Kent Pre-Law Undergraduate Scholars (PLUS) Program, teaching trial advocacy skills to college students who are interested in attending law school.
Erin is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
