Emily L. Tramont
Emily Tramont is based in the firm’s Chicago office. Emily’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including the defense of auto, truck, construction, and premises liability injury claims as well as the defense of labor and employment litigation.Emily’s past experience includes involvement in the defense of multi-million dollar injury cases arising from automobile and truck collisions, construction-site and premises incidents, and discrimination.
Emily graduated from Wellesley College with a degree in Art History and minor in Economics. While at Wellesley, she was the recipient of the selective Wellesley College Summer Internship Stipend, which she used to fund a summer internship investigating white-collar crime at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. She obtained her law degree from UIC John Marshall Law School. While in law school, Emily volunteered in the Felony division of the Chicago Public Defender’s Office and was an active member of the Animal Law Society. Emily continues to perform pro-bono work with the National Lawyer’s Guild.
Emily is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court - Northern District of Illinois.
