Blaire M. Theuerkauf
Blaire Theuerkauf is based in the firm’s Chicago office. Blaire’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including the defense of auto, truck, construction, and premises liability injury claims.Blaire's past experience includes involvement in the defense of personal injury cases arising from automobile and truck collisions, legal and medical malpractice claims, toxic tort claims, and construction-site and premises incidents.
Blaire graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois with a degree in International Business, Political Science and Asian Studies. She obtained her law degree from DePaul University College of Law. While in law school, Blaire served as the Managing Editor of Notes and Comments for DePaul’s Business and Commercial Law Journal, the Treasurer of DePaul’s Appellate Moot Court Society and the President of DePaul’s Women’s Bar Association. She also received the Benjamin Hooks Distinguished Service Award for completing over 100 volunteer hours and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers upon graduation. Since graduating, she performs pro-bono work through Administer Justice, helps coach current DePaul students competing in Moot Court competitions, and is a volunteer adoption counselor at PAWS Chicago.
Blaire is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court - Northern District of Illinois. She is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
