In February of 2012, Scott McKenna and Fritz Wilson were able to obtain dismissal on behalf of their municipal client after the plaintiff claimed that his vehicle was wrongly impounded subsequent to the client's investigation of a motor vehicle accident involving death.

Scott and Fritz argued that the municipality was following proper protocol and procedure for the impoundment and was immune from liability, to which the Court agreed.
