Daniel J. Hoelting
Dan Hoelting is based in the firm’s Chicago office. Dan’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including the defense of auto, truck, construction, premises liability injury claims, and insurance coverage.Dan’s past experience includes insurance defense, plaintiff’s side insurance subrogation, family law litigation, and criminal defense litigation.
Dan graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Political Science. He obtained his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, graduating cum laude with a pro bono notation (granted to students who complete more than 60 hours of pro bono work during their time in law school). While in law school, Dan competed in the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court and enrolled in both Trial Advocacy and Advanced Trial Advocacy courses. During his 1L and 2L winter breaks, Dan worked with the Orleans Public Defenders in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dan also spent a semester as a student in the University of Illinois Civil Litigation Clinic, where he represented indigent members of the Champaign community with matters of family and landlord/tenant law.
