Ashley M. Folk
Ashley Folk is based in the firm’s Naperville office. Ashley’s practice focuses on insurance subrogation, civil litigation and labor and employment law, including all forms of discrimination and retaliation, sexual harassment, state and federal wage claims, whistle blowing, wrongful termination, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act.Ashley’s past experience includes involvement in the defense of insurance cases and defense of municipalities.
While in law school, Ashley received the Book Award for obtaining the highest grade in her first year legal writing course, Applied Legal Theory and Analysis. At University of Detroit Mercy, Ashley received the Communication Excellence Award.
Ashley graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in Communications and a minor in Psychology. She completed her first year of law school at University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and obtained her law degree from DePaul University College of Law, with a concentration in Litigation with Honors. While in law school, Ashley received the Book Award for obtaining the highest grade in her first year legal writing course. She also clerked for a well-respected Municipal Law/Insurance Defense firm during law school.
Ashley is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
